The task was to create a poster highlighting a piece of architecture representing NYC. I chose the Chrysler Building, one of the city's most iconic landmarks, and decided to place a photo of William Van Alen, the architect of the building, next to its image.
We often hum famous melodies without knowing who composed them, or admire works of art or architecture without recognizing their creators. My intention was to educate or remind people of the visionary behind this impressive building.
